BOOB TUBE - SYNOPSIS

LOG LINE:  Boob tube takes a wild turn to the phenomenon of TV never actually studied as the role of it in our society from a point of view of what it means to people; Luna magazine team embarks upon this topic with some surprising twists into the hilarious.


SYNOPSIS:  A funeral home run by Aunt Maggie has an odd child living in the top floor who is addicted to TV; Scott the obese introverted young man who watches over ten hours of it daily.  Xillia finds a way to coax him out of the house with a dog walking job.


Luna magazine gets new office space with more room and nicer decor overlooking a golf course as the team moves during the episode.


Xillia and Levian find out about television sets that are in Asia with the technology not released yet of holographic plasma TV’s leaving Xillia frustrated with the technology of domestic import timelines. Levian visits a soap opera set that promises to revamp itself to educational content however the scene he watches is still filled with dripping content of infidelity such as has run for over thirty years in the story lines and he is unimpressed.


The magazine staff are presented with a miniature coffin as a gift from aunt Maggie and after their initial surprise decide to use it for unwanted items around the office.   


A refrigerator sales store has a murder and a body is found in the fridge stuffed inside.  The police is called to pick up the dead body and an investigation ensues.


Cassandra experiences insomnia and goes out in the middle of the night to get a snack she meets odd people out in the middle of the night and sits by a water fountain examining in her life.


The magazine staff get to go on a day time TV talk show host with a humorous host Reg and share their inner office secrets of friendships and success of their magazine which includes off the wall antics and events on some days.


Xillia teleports to an out of business TV store where the only item left is an old black and white TV from the back that she buys for $10.99. Xillia goes home and decorates the sitting room with retro furniture circa 1950’s and the old television and a stat icky radio. Rupinder comes over and they post Marilyn Monroe on the wall. Timothys son arrives and they celebrate with the rest of the magazine staff dressed in black with black sunglasses the secret society of unanswered questions tackled.
